Radio Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the radio control assembly. Refer to Radio Control Assembly Replacement 
  2. Remove the instrument panel center air outlet. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Replacement (Terrain) , Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Replacement (Equinox)
  3. Remove two screws from the lower side of the top pad and two screws from the upper side of the top pad.
  4. Remove the mat liner from the cd bezel.
  5. Remove the instrument panel lower extension bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Extension Accessory Bezel Replacement (Equinox) , Instrument Panel Lower Extension Accessory Bezel Replacement (Terrain)
  6. Remove the cd bezel rearward and up to disconnect connector.
  7. Raise up the lower top pad to clear the radio for removal.
NOTE:

The Center of the Radio Assembly may have a mounted Bluetooth Antenna. Do not touch or apply any pressure to the Bluetooth Antenna during removal or installation.

1 Radio Screw (Qty: 4)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
23 N.m (17 lb ft)
2 Radio Assembly

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  2. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
