Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the nitrogen oxide sensor fastener (1) and tighten to 10 (89 lb in)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

    NOTE:

    If reinstalling the old sensor, coat the threads with anti-sieze compound. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers

  2. Install the nitrogen oxide sensor (2) into the exhaust and tighten to 45 (33 lb ft).
