Preliminary Procedure Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Procedure Disconnect the rubber hoses. Disconnect the electrical connector. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable . If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .

Procedure

Disconnect the rubber hoses.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable .
If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .
