Preliminary Procedure Disconnect and reposition the heater inlet and outlet hoses. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LML) , Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LGH and LML) .
1	Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Temperature Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable . If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration . Tighten 44 N.m (32 lb ft)

CAUTION:

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is less than 30 grams, enable the DPF. Refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Regeneration Enable .
If the scan tool DPF Soot Mass is 30 grams or greater, refer to Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Service Regeneration .

Tighten
44 N.m (32 lb ft)
