Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Position the glow plug control module (2).
  2. Install the glow plug control module bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the positive battery cable (1) to the glow plug control module.

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the glow plug control module.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  6. If a NEW glow plug control module was installed, program the module. Refer to Control Module References .
  7. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
