Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, remove the F103 drive motor generator control module sight shield. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Control Module Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the T6 drive motor generator power inverter module X1 connector.
  3. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the control module voltage circuit terminal 20 and ground.
    • If the test lamp illuminates, replace the T6 drive motor generator power inverter module.
  4. Inspect for an external condition that may have caused a high 12 V circuit condition such as a battery charger.
