Installation Procedure

Carefully align and install the EBCM (1) to the BPMV.
Do not force the components together.

CAUTION:

Install new EBCM bolts (1).
Tighten the bolts in a cross pattern to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the electrical connector to the EBCM.
Install the brake modulator shield and the mounting nuts, if equipped, and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Install the brake modulator shield mounting bolt and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) for programming and setup information.
