Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2010 GMC Yukon XL, 2010 GMC Yukon, 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2010 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the gasket.
- Install the booster assembly.
- Install the 4 booster to bulkhead nuts and tighten to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
- Install the stop lamp switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Replacement (With Adjustable Pedals) or Stop Lamp Switch Replacement (Without Adjustable Pedals) .
- Install the master cylinder to the brake booster and tighten to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
- Connect the return hose, the steering gear, and the inlet hoses.
- Bleed the hydraulic booster system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
- Release the park brake and unblock the wheels.
