Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement (LAF)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
  2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
1 Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Fastener (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2 Fuel Injection Fuel Rail

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. It is necessary to rebuild the fuel injectors. Refer to Direct Fuel Injector Replacement .
