Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge pipe (1) from the throttle body (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the throttle body.

  4. Remove the throttle body bolts.
  5. Remove the throttle body and the seal from the intake manifold.
  6. Clean the gasket surface.
