Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Fig 1: View Of CKP Sensor Wiring Harness Connector, Engine Wiring Ground Leads & Engine Oil Pan Rail Retainers

  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (1).

  5. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
  6. Remove the CKP sensor from the engine block.

    Discard the O-ring seals.
