Installation Procedure

  1. Insert a NEW seal into the intake manifold groove.
  2. Position the throttle body to the intake manifold.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the throttle body bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the throttle body.

  5. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe (1) to the throttle body. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Install the air cleaner resonator and outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator and Outlet Duct Replacement .
