Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shock absorber to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the shock absorber lower mounting bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the shock absorber lower mounting bolt to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).

  3. Install the shock absorber upper mounting bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the shock absorber upper mounting nut to 85 N.m (63 lb ft).

  4. Remove the support from the rear axle.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
