Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Cadillac XLR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the coaxial cable into position in the front windshield.
  2. Install new tape to retain the cable to the windshield frame.

  3. Connect the coaxial cable to the front windshield antenna connector.
  4. Install the windshield upper garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement .
  5. Install the sunshades. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
  6. Install the windshield side garnish moldings. Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .
  7. Install the coaxial cable to the insulation tape along the hinge pillar.
  8. Install the I/P right lower insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .

  9. Install the I/P wiring harness push-in retainers to the floor panel support.
  10. Secure the I/P wiring harness to the body retaining clips.
  11. Connect the coaxial cable to the wire harness lead on the antenna module.
  12. Install the left lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  13. Install the left door sill plate. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement .
