Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement (Sedan, Coupe) , Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement (Wagon) .
1	Liftgate Latch Striker Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Liftgate Latch Striker Procedure Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil to ensure proper alignment during installation. Adjust the liftgate if needed.

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
25 N.m (18 lb ft)

Liftgate Latch Striker

Procedure

Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil to ensure proper alignment during installation.
Adjust the liftgate if needed.
