Installation Procedure

  1. With the regulator in the remove/load position, install the window (1) to the door.
  2. Tilt the window forward and carefully guide the window into the rear channel.
  3. Position the window to an upright position. Ensure that the window is seated into the channels.
  4. Position the window (1) to a fully secure position into the upper door weatherstrip.
    IMPORTANT: Do not operate the regulator motor without supporting the window. Ensure that the window remains in the channels when operating the regulator motor. Carefully move the regulator upward for short slow intervals, while ensuring that the window remains in the channels.
  5. Install the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  6. Install and tighten the rear door window guide bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the rear door window front channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement .
  8. Install the rear door speaker. See appropriate procedure.
  9. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  10. Remove the tape from the edges of the outer belt sealing strip.
  11. Install the water deflector.
  12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  13. Inspect the window for proper operation.
