Circuit/System Testing

IMPORTANT: Refer to DTC B3794  before performing this diagnostic, if this code is set as current or history.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector X3 at the BCM.
  2. Connect a fused jumper between the low reference terminal 22 and ground.
  3. Ignition ON, cruise control switch ON, verify that the steering wheel control switch-left LED is illuminated.
    • If the LED does not illuminate, test the low reference circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the steering wheel controls switch-left.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the BCM.
