Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Cadillac SRX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.
  1. Remove the right body side trim. Refer to Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement (w/o TB5) or Body Side Rear Trim Panel Replacement (w/TB5) .

  2. Remove the fasteners securing the digital radio receiver.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the receiver.
