Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transfer case shield to the cross member.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the transfer case shield mounting bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the transfer case mounting bolts to 33 N.m (24 lb ft).

  3. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General information.
