Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Locating Seal On The Shift Lever And TORX Head Shift Lever Screw (With Tow/Haul Switch)

  1. Install the shift lever (1) to the steering column.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screw (2) that retains the shift lever to the steering column.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  3. Install the shift lever seal to the upper steering column trim cover.
