1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Enable the window lockout function.
  3. Operate the passenger power windows from the passenger door power window switches.
Do the passenger power windows operate UP and DOWN?
Go to Step 3  Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems
3 Check the master switch lockout signal circuit for a short to B+. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 6  Go to Step 4 
4 Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the side window lockout switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
Did you find and correct the condition?
Go to Step 6  Go to Step 5 
5 Replace the side window lockout switch. Refer to Power Accessory Switch Panel Replacement .
Did you complete the repair?
Go to Step 6  -
6 Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
Did you correct the condition?
System OK Go to Step 2
