Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust manifold pipe and new seal to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the exhaust manifold pipe to manifold flange bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the exhaust manifold pipe to manifold flange bolts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (Utility 4.3L) .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
