Installation Procedure

  1. Install the muffler and NEW gasket to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the insulator to the muffler and tail pipe hanger.

  3. Connect the insulators to the muffler hanger (4-door utilities).

  4. Connect the insulator to the tail pipe hanger.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the muffler to catalytic converter flange nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the muffler to catalytic converter flange nuts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft).

  6. Lower the vehicle.
