Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

Coat a new "O" ring seal with a thin film of transmission fluid. Replace the "O" ring on the vehicle speed sensor assembly and install the vehicle speed sensor assembly. See Figure or Figure . Tighten the vehicle speed sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the harness connector to the sensor. See Figure. Lower the vehicle.
