BCM Scan Tool Data Definitions

Front Wiper Switch

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. When the windshield wiper/washer switch is turned to the mist, wash, low, or high positions the scan tool displays ON. When the switch is turned to the delay positions from low the scan tool continues to display ON. Anytime the switch is in the off position the scan tool displays OFF.

Headlamp Wash

The scan tool displays ON or OFF. While the headlamp washer switch is pressed the scan tool displays ON, when the switch is released the scan tool displays OFF.

Rear Washer Requested

The scan tool displays YES or NO. While the rear washer switch is pressed the scan tool displays YES, when the switch is released the scan tool displays NO.
