Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT CAUTION in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM   .
  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose. Refer to RADIATOR HOSE REPLACEMENT - INLET   .
  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to RADIATOR HOSE REPLACEMENT - OUTLET   .
  5. Disconnect transmission oil cooler lines.
  6. Disconnect the fan motor electrical connector.
  7. Disconnect two fan motor electrical harness clamps from the fan shroud.
  8. Remove two radiator fan mount bolts.
  9. Remove the radiator fan with the motor
  10. Transfer all necessary components onto the replacement radiator.
