Preliminary Procedure Remove the fuel filter assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Fuel Filter Assembly Replacement .
1	Ground Wire Screw Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Hand tighten the ground wire screw until snug.
2	Fuel Heater Screw Procedure Hand tighten the fuel heater screw until snug.
3	Fuel Heater Spring and Seals Procedure Take note of original spring and seal positions.
