Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
    2. Fig 1: View Of MAP Sensor Harness Connector

  2. Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector.

    NOTE:

    Do not rotate or pry on the MAP sensor when removing. Damage to the MAP sensor or the intake manifold may result.

  3. Remove the MAP sensor by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion.
  4. Inspect the MAP sensor seal for damage and replace as necessary.
