Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fan onto the fan clutch.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fan clutch bolts to the rear of the fan blade.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fan clutch bolts to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  3. Install the fan blade and clutch.

  4. Install the J 41240  and J 41240-5A  .

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fan clutch nut to 59 N.m (43 lb ft).

  5. Install the fan shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement (Upper)  or Fan Shroud Replacement (Lower) .
