Installation Procedure

  1. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the drain plug to the oil pan.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the drain plug to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  2. Install the engine oil level sensor.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine oil level sensor to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the engine oil sensor.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Refill the engine with the recommended oil.
