Cruise Control Cable

Carefully pry cruise control cable from throttle lever. Remove cruise control cable housing from retainer on bracket. Remove air cleaner assembly from vehicle. Remove cruise control cable from cruise control module. Remove cable bead from end of ribbon. Ensure ribbon does not retract into module. Remove cruise control cable. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure ribbon is NOT twisted. After installation, cable lash should be 0.0-0.4" (0.0-1.0 mm) when throttle lever is in closed position.
