Remote Keyless Entry Systems - Old Style: Operation

When UNLOCK button is depressed once, only driver door is unlocked. When UNLOCK button is depressed a second time within 5 seconds, remaining doors including cargo doors or liftgate on utility vehicles (if equipped) are unlocked.

When LOCK button is depressed, all doors and cargo doors or liftgate on utility vehicles (if equipped) lock. When LOCK button is depressed twice, horn sounds to verify that doors locked.

When REAR 2X button (utility vehicles) is depressed twice within 5 seconds, liftgate window is unlatched, or cargo doors unlock. Vehicles with automatic transmission must be in park or neutral position, or manual transmission, parking brake must be set in order for this feature to operate.

When UNLOCK button is pressed, courtesy lights illuminate for approximately 30 seconds or until ignition is turned on. Dome light defeat switch does not effect this function.
