Test J: Keyless Entry System Does Not Change Customization Modes (Base)

  1. If Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) will program, but not change operating modes, go to next step. If RCDLR will not program, see TEST K: KEYLESS ENTRY DOES NOT PROGRAM (BASE)  .
  2. Disconnect RCDLR. Turn ignition on. Using DVOM, measure voltage between RCDLR connector terminal "J" (Pink wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, go to step  4 .
  3. Replace RCDLR. See REMOTE CONTROL DOOR LOCK RECEIVER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repair, recheck system.
  4. Repair open in Pink wire between RCDLR and instrument panel fuse block. After repair, recheck system.
