Test 1: All Windows Inoperative: 2-Door

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a test light connected to ground, backprobe master switch assembly connector C1 terminal "L" (Yellow wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Yellow wire between master switch assembly and instrument panel fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  and COMPONENT LOCATIONS  .
  2. Using a test light, backprobe between master switch assembly connector C1 terminals "L" (Yellow wire) and "C" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire between master switch assembly and ground connection G202. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  3. Check master switch assembly connector for poor terminal contact. If connections are okay, replace master switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
