This DTC cannot be retrieved with a current status. Diagnosis of a current DTC U1300 is accomplished through the symptom, scan tool will not communicate with a class 2 device. An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short to ground on the serial data link. See appropriate wiring diagram in DATA LINK CONNECTORS article in WIRING DIAGRAMS.
