Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the coaxial cable harness to the roof beams with the rosebud clips (3).
  2. Connect the power lead connectors (2).

  3. Install the antenna connection (2) at the windshield.
  4. Connect the ground connector (1) to the roof beam.

  5. Connect the coaxial cable connectors (2).
  6. Install the cable clips (1) to the instrument panel support.
  7. Insert the cable connector into the retainer in the radio cavity.

  8. Install the coaxial cable connections to the antenna module.
  9. Install the upper instrument panel trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- IP UPPER .
  10. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (w/o UM8)  or Radio Replacement (w UM8)  .
  11. Install the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (WITH SUNROOF) or HEADLINER REPLACEMENT (WITHOUT SUNROOF) .
  12. Install the upper rear quarter trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- REAR QUARTER UPPER .
  13. Install the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- CENTER PILLAR .
