Removal & Installation

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF under FUEL SYSTEM. Disconnect harness connectors from fuel meter body. Disconnect fuel feed and return lines. Remove upper intake manifold. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY .NOTE: Label injector lines for installation reference.
- Squeeze injector lock tabs and lift injectors from lower intake manifold. Remove fuel meter body from bracket with injector lines and injectors attached by releasing lock tabs on bracket. Disassemble as necessary.
- To install, reverse removal procedures. Ensure all injectors are properly lock in place. Install NEW "O" ring on fuel feed and return lines. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
