Wipers Do Not Operate In Any Mode (Pulse System)

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light to ground and wiper/washer provision connector terminal "E" (Yellow wire). If light is on, go to next step. If light is off, repair open in Yellow wire between fuse block and wiper/washer connector.
  2. Using DVOM, backprobe pulse wiper control module terminal "D" (Black wire) and battery voltage. If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Black wire between pulse wiper control module and ground.
  3. Using DVOM, backprobe wiper/washer switch pigtail terminal "D" (Black wire) and battery voltage. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace pulse wiper control module. If voltage is more than 10 volts replace wiper/washer switch.
