Only Rear Window Cargo Door Release Function Does Not Operate

  1. Place transmission in Park position. Press rear window release switch on instrument panel. If endgate opens, go to next step. If endgate does not open, problem is not remote keyless entry related.
  2. Disconnect keyless entry module connector C1. Connect test light between connector C1, terminal "H" (Orange wire). If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Orange wire.
  3. Connect test light between connector C1, terminal "G" (Tan wire) and voltage. If test light comes on, replace keyless entry module. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Tan wire.
  4. Connect voltmeter between remote keyless entry module connector C1, terminal "B" (Black wire) and ground. Press transmitter to open rear window. If battery voltage is present, repair open circuit in Black wire. If battery voltage is not present, replace keyless entry module.
