Vehicle Speed Sensor Buffer

Vehicle speed sensor buffer receives and conditions AC voltage to a rate of 4000 pulses per mile. This signal is then sent to cruise control module, speedometer and PCM. These components convert the number of pulses per mile to pulses per second to determine the speed of the vehicle. Buffer is located above accelerator pedal, on left side of instrument panel, near parking brake.
