Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory

Unlike the Programmable Read-Only Memory (PROM), Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) is not replaceable. If PCM is replaced the new PCM will need to be programmed at a GM agency.
