Window Motor: Removal

  1. Remove window regulator. See WINDOW REGULATOR  .
  2. Install self-tapping, pan head sheet metal screw through the sector gear and backing plate at the hole provided to lock the sector gear into position. See Figure .
  3. Drill out the to regulator attaching rivets, remove motor from regulator.
