Vehicle Speed Sensor Buffer (Digital Ratio Adapter Controller)

WARNING: Before replacing the vehicle speed sensor buffer, the technician must be properly grounded to prevent static shock. A grounding strap should be worn by the technician by placing the cuff around the wrist, then attaching the ground wire clip to a known good chassis ground.

NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis correspond to numbers in illustrations.

1. Remove harness connector (6). See Fig 1.
2. Remove mounting screws (5). See Fig 1.
3. Remove Buffer (4). See Fig 1.
4. To install, reverse removal procedures.
