Cruise Control Module: Installation

  1. Install Module (2). See Figure.
  2. Install washer (3) and nut (4). Hand tighten at this time. See Figure.
  3. Install screws (1) to bracket (12). Tighten screw (1) and nut (4) to 25 INCH lbs. (2.8 N.m). See Figure.
  4. Connect electrical connectors (5). See Figure.
  5. Install cable to engine bracket. See Figure.
  6. Connect cable to stud (6). Install cable retainer (7). See Figure.
  7. Install spacer (8), washer (10), and nut (11). See Figure.
  8. Connect negative battery cable. Check circuit operation. Adjust cruise control cable. See CRUISE CONTROL CABLE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
