Removal (3.8L)

  1. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELIEF (TBI) under FUEL SYSTEM (GASOLINE). Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain coolant from radiator. Remove air induction tube, throttle and cruise control cables.
  2. Disconnect electrical harness connector from IAC, TP sensor and MAF sensor. Remove throttle body mounting bolts. Remove throttle body assembly.
