Installation (4.3L Turbo)

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW gasket. Ensure throttle and cruise control cables do not hold throttle valve open. Tighten retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Reset IAC motor pintle position.
  2. To reset IAC motor pintle position, depress accelerator pedal slightly. Start and run engine for 5 seconds. Turn ignition off for 10 seconds. Restart engine and check for proper idle operation.
