Removal & Installation (All Models)

  1. On 4.3L PFI, remove passenger side wheelhouse panel. On 6.5L Diesel, remove turbocharger heat shield. On all models, remove retaining pin or clip to wastegate actuator rod. Remove vacuum hose to actuator, and remove bolts securing actuator to turbocharger unit.
  2. Remove wastegate actuator from turbocharger unit. To install, reverse removal procedure.
