Vent Glass: Removal

  1. Open the vent window.
  2. Squirt solvent on the tar-paper-like filler all around the glass channel, and on both sides of the glass.
  3. When the filler and sealer soften, pull the glass and old filler from the channel.
  4. Thoroughly clean the inside of the glass channel (226) and (229) with sandpaper to remove all rust and foreign matter. See Figure .
