Removal (4WD Models)

Remove cotter pins from ball studs. Remove castle nuts. Using Steering Linkage Puller (J-24319-01), remove ball studs from steering arm and pitman arm. Mark position of adjuster tube and direction of bolt installation. Remove connecting rod ends from adjusting tube. Loosen clamp bolts. Remove connecting rod ends.
