Wiper Motor Inoperative Testing

  1. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and wiper switch to HI position. Connect test light between ground and White wire at wiper motor connector C187. If test light illuminates, go to step 2). If test light does not illuminate, check and repair open in White wire between fuse block and connector C187. See Figure .
  2. On all models, connect a fused jumper wire between Black wire at wiper switch connector C207 and ground. If wiper motor runs, repair open circuit between ground and Black wire at wiper switch connector C221. See Figure . If wiper motor does not run, replace wiper motor.
